We're excited to share that Onsite has been selected as a recipient of a Meta AI Glasses Impact Grant.

Meta created the program to support organizations exploring how AI glasses can create meaningful societal and economic impact. Onsite is honored to be one of only five organizations to receive Meta’s Catalyst grant, enabling us to push the boundaries of the glasses platform and discover new ways of working for operators in the field.

Building the future of field work

At Onsite, we believe the next generation of field work won't happen behind a desk. It will happen where the work actually gets done.

Whether someone is inspecting infrastructure, managing a job site, performing maintenance, documenting progress, or coordinating with teammates in the field, capturing essential information often requires the distraction of a phone or laptop.

AI glasses represent an entirely new hands-free interface for that work.

What this grant enables

Through the Meta AI Glasses Impact Grant, Onsite will expand our exploration of hands-free, AI-powered workflows built specifically for field teams.

We'll use the grant to build and evaluate experiences that help workers:

• Capture work as it happens without interrupting the task at hand

• Document sites using photos, video, and voice

• Retrieve important project information instantly

• Generate reports and summaries automatically

• Spend more time nurturing customer relationships

• Collaborate with teammates while staying focused on the physical environment

• Augment their expertise with realtime AI assistance that sees and hears what they do

Our goal is simple: reduce the burden of administrative work so professionals can spend more time doing the work that matters.

Why this matters

The workforce that builds, maintains, and operates the physical world has largely been underserved by modern software.

While AI has transformed knowledge work, many field professionals still rely on manual documentation, fragmented communication, and paperwork that slows projects down.

Wearable AI has the potential to fundamentally change that, and Onsite sees the Trades as a new proving ground for the technologies of tomorrow. By making computing ambient and hands-free, workers can interact with information naturally while remaining fully engaged with their environment.

We believe this shift will redefine how field teams capture knowledge, share context, and make decisions.
